After being targeted by Israeli attacks, Iran and Iraq reportedly closed their airspace, with Jordan and Syria continuing sporadic flight activity.

A video that went viral on TikTok shows an aircraft being tracked by Flightradar24 flying over the Iranian capital, Tehran, shocking many users with the pilot’s courage to continue the flight.

The cargo flight was operated by Cargolux, flying from Zhengzhou, China, to London, UK. The company, however, stated that its flights do not use Iranian airspace.

“We are aware of recent information and statements circulating on social media regarding alleged Cargolux flights using Iranian airspace, based on data from a public application,” Cargolux stated.

“Other airlines may also be affected by inaccurate data displayed by these public apps,” the company added in a statement to the Indy100 portal.

“Our flight tracking systems provide real-time data, which confirm that no flight has entered Iranian airspace. Any claim to the contrary is entirely unfounded.”

Flightradar24 has not yet commented on the flight tracking.
